But with a Tactic 2.4GHz system, there are no crystals, no waiting for a frequency to free up — and virtually no chance of same-channel interference.
     Why? Unlike crystal radios that “sit” on one frequency, Tactic systems transmit on a group of frequencies, hopping from one to another several hundred times each second. That makes the chance of a “hit” from same-channel interference incredibly small.
